INSPECTOR - QUALITY CONTROL (Saudi Arabia)
Completion of a basic course in general aircraft maintenance in the affected career field is mandatory.Completion of an advanced course in general aircraft maintenance is highly desirable.Completion of a secondary education is desirable.Knowledge of the MSEP and RSAFM 66-1, coupled with applicable technical manuals, is mandatory.Knowledge of IBM-compatible personal computer (PC) operations is highly desirable.
Ten (10) years experience in the aircraft maintenance field, of which at least four (4) years have been on the C-130 aircraft, is mandatory.Experience in the inspection of C-130 "E" or "H" model aircraft is desirable.At least one (1) yearexperience with PC word processing and spreadsheet programs is preferred.
3.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assistance, advice and authoritative reference to the Maintenance Squadron Commander and Maintenance supervisors.
Perform inspections of maintenance actions, procedures, equipment and facilities.
Manage the material deficiency and technical data improvement programs.
Monitor the currency, applicability and use of technical data.
Manage the aircraft weight and balance program.
Administer the functional check flight program.
Administer the Base part of the MSEP program.
Assists with administration of the Maintenance ground safety program.
Monitor Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) accomplishments, including inspection, repair and overhaul.
Perform in-process inspection on components and equipment undergoing inspection, repair and overhaul.
Perform continuation training for RSAF Quality Control inspectors.
Perform other quality control functions, as directed by the Quality Control Officer.
