Finance Director Expired

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director for a multi branch law firm based on Merseyside and will involve working closely with the Partners on the financial management of the firm and the management of the finance team.

The role will provide plenty of challenge, be varied and exciting and candidates will have to be able to demonstrate their ability and experience in

• Business Planning
• The drafting of monthly management information and finance reports for the partners
• Assessing all business costs and recommend appropriate savings
• Management of the relationship with the accountants and bank
• Work with the department heads in relation to profit projection, cost projection and other ancillary matters
• Have experience in the revision and implementation of credit control policies
• Provide training in relation to financial matters to department heads and fee earners
• Have experience of managing a finance team
• A comprehensive understanding of cutting edge technology and the ways in which to maximise IT to increase the efficiency within the finance team
• Full knowledge of compliance issues
• Provide basic taxation advice to partners in relation to capital expenditure etc
• Ideally have a good knowledge of the financial aspects of legal aid and billing and LSC rules
• Ideally with experience of using the Norwell accounts and case management systems
• A dynamic and committed approach
• A robust approach to financial discipline
• A desire to work with the Managing Partner and management team to further
• the Vision of the practice.
