To actively engage with employers, and employer groups, to understand and provide innovative solutions to their business needs
To promote and engage employers in the range of business support available from Intraining with a focus on the recruitment of new employees and the up-skilling of the current workforce.
To actively engage with new employers and employer groups to secure their commitment to working with Intraining on their recruitment and skills needs
To actively support existing employer relationships to secure repeat business
To take responsibility for generating business leads with potential employers through a range of appropriate mediums including cold calling, conducting face-to-face business meetings and delivering presentations
To provide employers with a timely and responsive service focused on meeting their business needs, and impacting on the recruitment or training needs they have identified
To undertake a ‘needs analysis’ with employers to understand their requirements and inform any business solutions offered
To act as an internal advocate and champion for employers within Intraining clearly articulating their priorities and needs to delivery teams so provision can be adjusted and adapted as required
To identify individual employer/sector training, recruitment or development needs and work in partnership with employers and internal colleagues to deliver customised packages
To increase the number of employers who choose to work with Intraining to recruit new employees or for their training needs by providing a high quality responsive service
To actively promote and encourage employers to use the services of Intraining
To work closely in partnership with delivery personnel to ensure that employers with a recruitment need have access to the most appropriate individuals for their organisation
To respond to all employer requests in a timely, effective and efficient manner
To maintain regular contact with a portfolio of local employers, reviewing their current arrangements and/or exploring further collaboration and opportunities
To maintain the employer contact database and keep accurate employer records
To keep up to date on changes and developments within the local labour market, informing and providing senior management and delivery personnel with relevant intelligence
To participate in network meetings with Government organisations, economic development partners and local training/development suppliers as identified/requested
To meet and exceed agreed targets set by the line manager
To become involved in activities and duties as identified by the line manager
To adhere to all Intraining quality standards and procedures
To uphold and comply with the commitment and culture of Intraining Equal Opportunities policy
To maintain a positive attitude to health and safety in carrying out personal responsibilities and to co-operate with the Health and Safety/local rules/code of practice relating to health and safety matters
To promote Intraining and the programmes it delivers
To actively participate in marketing or publicity events that raise the profile of the Company
The following are Standard responsibilities for all positions within Intraining:
Participate in any staff review/performance management processes involving the identifying and meeting of training needs for self and others.
Take appropriate responsibility to ensure the health and safety of self and others.
Pursue the achievement and integration of equal opportunities throughout all activities.
Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the level of this post.
Comply with all Intraining’s policies and procedures at all times

Key Requirements:
Educated to NVQ Level 3 or above or suitable business experience
A working knowledge of current post 16 education, training and development programmes
Previous experience of meeting employer needs through recruitment, training, education or other development solutions
Previous experience in a sales environment
A proven history of meeting and exceeding objectives
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Ability to conduct structure business meetings with employers
Ability to confidently cold call employers for potential business
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Confident and proactive in generating new business leads
A current driving licence and access to a vehicle
