Working in a busy highly professional Shipping function, you will liaise with distributors in foreign markets to co-ordinate the timely delivery of orders by road, sea or air. You will also be dealing with the customer directly and have daily contact with clients.
We are looking for candidates ideally from the shipping industry but would consider applications from a coordinator role in a different industry.
You will need to be very organised and have a strong telephone manner, be able to multi task and have very strong customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience of compiling import customs entries and transmitting to HMRC with knowledge of various customer procedures such as Home use, IPR, OPR and warehousing. Previous use of Destin8 and CNS port systems inventories and knowledge of HMRC are also advantageous.
