We currently have a TREMENDOUS position for someone wanting to work for a large blue chip company, you must be a fully qualified plant and tool fitter looking for a career rather than just a job for a salary of 20,000pa.

This position will be to work out of a local depot in the Bromley south London area and the salary will be £20,000pa including their normal benefits, however this is also negotiable for the right candidate with the correct qualification and experience.

This position is for a very large blue chip company who have over 300 branches around the whole of the UK and Ireland who have been trading for nearly 50 years now and currently have a very dedicated and passionate workforce of some 2,300 staff. They have a vision and a passion to provide impeccable customer service of which this is backed up with the Technical support second to none in this competitive market place.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING, be apprenticed trained or hold the qualification of either NVQ 3 or the equivalent in City & Guilds as a plant or mechanical diesel fitter. You will have a substantial working knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, diesel, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment with the experience to back up your qualification.

IDEALLY YOU WILL ALSO BE qualified in the use of Clare or Pat testing and on abrasive wheels too. Hold a full licence and be able to work every other Saturday morning and have worked previously in this fast paced industry.

THE ROLE will require you to test and update records on equipment which has just come back from hire and to identify weather it needs to be repaired or serviced so that it may again be hired out. You will be responsible for all the routine maintenance of generators and electrical equipment, so ideally you will be multi skilled and be able to diagnose any types of faults.

You must be able to comply with their health and safety at work policy and meet the high standard they always strive to uphold whilst being efficient and adaptable in the workplace, this combined with all the above criteria "and a can do attitude" will guarantee you an immediate interview.
