SHEQ Advisor - North West, Merseyside - to £36,000 + package.
Our client is a rapidly expanding brownfield remediations and earthworks contractor with an impressive client base and pipeline of work. Due to expansion, they are currently recruiting for a proven Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager to work from their new office in Merseyside.
The main duties of the role would be to develop SHE plans with the contract team, audit sites and office for ISO9001 and ISO18001and advise on waste classification and disposal. The position will involve a large number of site visits with the majority of the projects being based in Manchester and Liverpool or in between the two. Generally, projects are valued at between £1 million and £5 million.
Applicants must be professionally qualified and will have gained exposure to large civil engineering and ideally, groundworks or earthworks projects. It would be advantageous if you have worked on remediation schemes in the past but not essential.
This position is available for candidates looking to work on either a full time or part time basis (salary pro-rata).
