To manage short term technical assistance assignments with oversight from within the Programmes Team. To provide administrative support as part of the Programmes Team to a portfolio of long and medium term projects and bid development.

Job Status: Full time; Fixed Term Maternity Cover- 6 months in the first instance. Based in Liverpool.
Responsibilities:
Duty 1Provide administrative support to bid development including reviewing business development notices, the formatting and editing of CVs and the formatting of final bid documents
Duty 2Assist in the identification, procurement and mobilisation of suitable consultants for bids, consultancies or programmes
Duty 3Provide administrative support to medium-term and long-term projects including the formatting and editing of consultancy reports
Duty 4Draft budgets, agree Terms of Reference (TORs) and on occasion manage Short Term Technical Assistance (STTA) assignments
Duty 5Responsible for ensuring that both the Programmes Database and the website are up to date and conform to quality assurance guidelines for an allocated portfolio of programmes
Duty 6Regular production of management information reports from the Programmes Database
Duty 7Liaison between the Business Support Unit, Finance Department and the Programme Management Team for mobilisation of consultants, financial tracking and consultant invoice and expense authorisation
Duty 8Provide cover and backstopping to other Programme Co-ordinators and Assistants within the team
Duty 9Any other reasonable task that is required to further the strategic aims
