To ensure the achievement of collections targets, whilst maximising revenue/ cost margins, through the leadership of collections managers
Accountabilities
1. Advise Operations Director on potential of collections department ensuring that constraints are understood and plans are developed to build on collections department strengths and reduce any weaknesses
2. Provide clear direction and focus to Collections Managers and team leaders by providing support, training and guidance as necessary
3. Liaise fully with IT and Head of Operations to ensure all deliverables are achievable within business systems and that improvements are constantly effected to the system
4. Ensure that the Operations Department achieves or exceeds the agreed standards of performance in collections and productivity, ensuring the delivery of cost effective revenue performance.
5 Ensure the effective and efficient planning of resources to achieve business objectives.
6 To ensure that all performance management tools are used in the Operations department, and that learning and development planning is in place for each employee
7 Ensure that operations employees are trained in and follow legislative and Company procedures and policies.
8 To manage poor performance, absence and turnover effectively and efficiently in line with Company policies and procedures
9 To manage salary reviews and bonus scheme awards and ensure that policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly
