Job Description
We have nearly doubled in size in the last 12 months due to our market leading products and services and as a result we are currently recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager/Team Leader to develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to an agreed target, manage and develop outbound BDM’s and attend external and internal Client meetings.
Click Consult are a leading UK Internet Marketing and Web Development agency, with over 300 clients including JJB Sports, 3663 Food, Allianz, and Liverpool ONE. Our core services are SEO, PPC and website design/development, with growing services such as Social Media, Online Press Release management, brand reputation, and Mobile Web development.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with potential clients through direct communication in telephone calls, emails, LinkedIn and face to face meeting as required
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process as a Manager, and personally, lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
- Be self-managed, organized and strategic. Build a growing team of BDM’s. Support is available by the Sales Director & HOBD for complex large pitches, strategies or tenders
Attend industry events and tradeshows, your professional manner will aid your intention of gaining new business leads and contacts
- Manage and maintain your own pipeline and ensure that all sales administration is kept up-to-date using internal CRM software
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation. Sales Support process proposals, but it may be necessary at times to produce yourself.
- Possess a thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment (ROI) objectives
- Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
- Effectively interact with other departments including the account management and technical team when handing over campaigns ensuring you fully and correctly brief in all aspects of the sale
- Keep abreast of issues affecting search engine marketing companies and the search engine industry and collecting competitor intelligence
- Ensure that Click Consult remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients
Experience/Skills required:
- Extensive experience in New Business cold calling
- Experience of Managing, coaching and developing a team
- Experience of engaging at senior levels
- Proven consistent track record in sales using a consultative sales approach
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to work within a vibrant, rapidly expanding Sales Team, achieving individual and Team targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage own time, and prioritise
- Ability to delegate as and when necessary
- Experience of working with a CRM system
- Flexibility to travel
