Job Description
Office Account Banking Clerk
Overall Purpose
To ensure all office cheques are banked as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Financial Controller
Main Duties
Receipt of cheques and identifying which is client or office.
Banking of office cheques in accordance with SARs.
Resolving issues for un-banked cheques and informing fee earner of cheque on day of receipt and reason for why the cheque cannot be banked.
Maintaining a log of un-banked office / client cheques.
Processing of third party cheques.
Assist with e-mails relating to write offs and credit notes.
Assist with management of supplier waive fee arrangement.
To fulfill all other duties as requested from time to time.
