Job Description
Full Time - up to 45 hrs per week- shifts from 9am to midnight Monday-Sunday. Part Time also available
Love working as part of a team? YO! Sushi, the UK's leading conveyor belt restaurant, opened our first store in London in 1997, and we now operate 62 restaurants in 6 countries. Based on the concept of a Japanese 'Kaiten' sushi bar, we offer a quality, fast and fun dining experience for all age groups. Due to our continuing success we're expanding our operations and have a vacancy for an EXPERIENCED VIBRANT CHEF at our restaurant in Liverpool ONE.
The Role
Chef Team Members report to the General Manager and are responsible for maintaining YO! Sushi's standards of operation in the areas of:
Food Quality - ensure all food is prepared to brand specification in presentation and recipe.
Customer Service – have the ability to 'wow' customers with food knowledge, a vibrant character and excellent sales skills.
Cleanliness and Maintenance – ensure that the condition of workstations and the restaurant floor meet our high standards.
Atmosphere - using your outgoing character you will help create a fun and funky atmosphere.
The Person
To apply for this role you must be able to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment and must have the following:-
Proven customer service experience
Excellent communication skills
Chef/kitchen experience
Be able to work effectively under pressure
Must have permission to work within the United Kingdom
