Care Assistants are required to work within a variety of Residential Units and Nursing Homes for older people and people suffering from dementia
Reporting to the Team Leader you will be required to work as part of a team to maintain the standard of care required by this Social Services Department.
The posts are temporary, varying in duration and require a flexible approach to shift work.
Main duties -
*Providing general care for older people, ensuring optimum well being at all times
*Personal and intimate care
*Working as part of a team
*Adhering to care plans
*Supporting emotional needs
*Liaising with outside agencies and families where appropriate
*Domestic duties
Key Skills -
*Experience of working with vulnerable adults
*Be willing to undergo a Capita CRB
*Communication skills
*Pro active, willing attitude
