An ongoing role working with children from Birth to 5 years old in a nursery environment based in Leicester City.
Essential requirements include:
*NVQ3 or Equivalent professional qualification
*Experience working with children in a day care nursery setting
*Experience working within a nursery setting is essential
*Shift based work
*Effective communication skills required
*You will undertake all general child care duties and have a genuine passion for working in child care.
*Duties will include providing high quality childcare, preparation of activities, setting up and putting away equipment, assisting with all aspects of the daily nursery routine.
*Ability to work in partnership with families to support their parenting
*Experience of record writing and maintaining accurate records
*Knowledge of child development and promoting of Early Years Learning opportunities including the Foundation Stage curriculum and Birth to Three Matters Framework
*All applicants need to have the desire to work to a high standard, and possess personal attributes to work well within a team and on your own initiative.
