My client has a very exciting opportunity for a Home Manager at their 38 bedded home. The home provides residential and respite care for elderly people with physical frailty and physical disabilities, as well as those in short-term convalescence.
The Home is located in the Bootle area of Liverpool
JOB PURPOSE: To take overall responsibility for the smooth running of the Care Centre
and the general well-being of Clients and Staff Members.
To ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements are adhered to within the defined timescales.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
* 1st Level Nurse (Nursing Care Centre) or NVQ Level 3 in Care of the Elderly (Residential Care
Centre)
* Previous management / supervisory experience
* Registered Manager’s Award (achieved / working
towards), or equivalent qualification
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Full Driving Licence
* Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
* Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
Desired:
* Care for the Elderly experience / qualification
* Minimum three years management / supervisory experience
